"Perfect if you are in to the Nightlife"

Located North of Hwy 59, between the 610 Loop and Sam Houston Tollway is where you will discover Woodlake and Briar Meadow. This established area of Houston is nestled among Richmond Ave and Westheimer Rd. This is a prime Houston area location, known for its atmosphere. There is ample shopping, dining, and nightlife with a Starbucks on every major corner. The majority of Houston employers commute to the nearby Galleria area, which can cause traffic and congestion at peak travel times during the week.

Close to Midtown & Downtown Houston, Woodlake is the perfect spot for singles and young couples. This is one of the best areas of Houston for nightlife, and is home to many of the famous bars and clubs. Being close to Memorial Park you will find setback areas filled with joggers, dog walkers, and even fitness boot camp groups. There are a vast amount of major employers in the area since it is close to The Galleria. Grade school students residing in this area will attend HISD schools, which tend to have a bad reputation, but there are a variety of private schools to choose from.

"Apartments, Houses, Business... Oh My!"

Just south of Bellaire, east of the Beltway and nearly cut in two by US 59, Westwood has a lot of apartment complexes, perfect for young couples or single adults. Also perfect for young adults and couples is Westwood's location. Near Bissonet and Beechnut, there is access to some of Houston's best roads and attractions. The Beltway will take you north to Town and Country Mall and City Centre, as well as one of Houston's biggest movie theaters. 59 to the north meets up with 610, which can take you to either the Galleria or just south of Downtown Houston. In any direction you take these super highways, there is something to do and see. The apartments are affordable and clean, but the houses in the area are big, but affordable as well. And being just south of Bellaire, the trees have their remnants in Westwood, which provides ample beauty and cover in any weather. While 59 and the Beltway run right through the neighborhood, there is considerable noise pollution at at all times. There are also a lot of businesses that operate along the roadways that can be somewhat of an eyesore if you pass by them every day. If you like traffic, I guess.... Bissonnet is a busy street, with rare lapses in its heavy traffic patterns. Beltway 8 and 59 are also major traffic hubs, especially during rush hour, and Beechnut to the north is no more calm than I-10 after Katrina. The area is affordable and calm for its location, though, and many people will find its downtown charm comforting.

"Westwood, Houston"

Westwood is one of the lush neighborhoods in Houston. It offers residents a welcoming location to live in and conduct business. This area is near many of the major roadways in the city. State Highway and the Sam Houston Tollway are two of these roadways. There are busy streets in this neighborhood. Some of these popular streets include Bissonnet Street, Woodfair Drive, and South Gessner Drive. Many of the longer streets in this neighborhood provide access to other portions of the city. If you visit this area you will find local attractions to visit. One of these attractions is the Westwood Country Club. Another popular attraction here is the Braeburn Glen Park.

This park is utilized by families and residents in this neighborhood. Westwood offers a number of schools to residents. One of the schools in this neighborhood is the Kipp Academy of Houston. There are great apartment complexes in this area to choose from. You can also choose from your choice of subdivision in the Westwood neighborhood. Residents of this area enjoy the suburban feel of this area. It is different from some of the more modern, trendy offerings in the city. One of the great benefits to this area is its proximity to many fun locations in the city.
