"So much to see, so little time"
Quaint shops, award-winning restaurants and Pike Place Market. Walking down Western Ave between University and Stewart can be an all-day affair. It's like Pike Place Market had too many shops and restaurants and a few spilled out the back. Most people overlook this area, but you don't want to miss it. You can find some pretty fun trinkets and taste some amazing cuisine along this little stretch of Western Ave. Go too far, though, and it turns into a virtual ghost town.

"As cool as Pike Street at some points."
Western Avenue runs along the bay but not directly on the bay. It has a convenient bike line, which is necessary around here. The street is lined with many beautifully crafted apartments and buildings. Most have restaurants or walk up stores on the lower level. It is parallel to the famous Pike Street at one point and gets a lot of tourist runoff.
