Western Addition in San Francisco is a little bit of a mixed bag when it comes to singles. On the one hand Western Addition is a good place to live for singles because rents are relatively low and there are lots of bars and restaurants and you are right in the heart of everything.
On the other hand, Western Addition is right by the Tenderloin and has a pretty bad crime and homeless problem which means a lot of hassles for residents. As a woman, I would definitely not want to live there on my own.
