West Wells St, Marquette

I frequently walked W Wells St anywhere from N 18th St all the way downtown Milwaukee while a student at Marquette University. There are typical college bars, fast food joints, college apartments, dorms, etc. Closer to downtown you have the Milwaukee Museum, Central Library, bars, and the Midwest Express Center- Milwaukee's major convention center. West Wells Street is a major thoroughfare in and out of downtown Milwaukee much like West Wisconsin Avenue is. Although its not the sort of place you would really want to live unless you were a student, its a fairly safe and clean street. There is great access to the city bus system for easy getting around Milwaukee.
