17th street is a beautiful place to live. This part of DC is majorly on capital hill. The neighborhood is very quiet. The schools in this area are very nice well maintained and worth attending. This community is drug free and free from violence. Traffic is use heavy during rush hour on this street because it leads you to Pennsylvania Ave. and I 95. Certain areas on this street need to be repaved so if you are going to drive be aware of the multiple pot holes. Also some of the lights on this street are very slow at changing.
