"Old world charm"
Old World Third Street is one of the places I send visitors who come to stay with us from out of state. The cobblestone sections are charming. The access to the riverwalk really allows for us to show off one of Milwaukee's best attributes- the riverwalk itself. The bars and restaurants have character and are fun. The traditional sausage shop run by Usingers is a must stop for fresh meats and sausages- a real, authentic Wisconsin feel. Although I think it might be a bit too noisy and hustle-bustle of a place for me to want to live, I am sure some people love living on Old World Third street because of all the things to see and do. There would also be great access to the extensive Milwaukee City bus system.

"Wonderful for Nightlife"
N Old World 3rd Street is a haven for those that love to grab a quick drink after work, or those that love the nightlife. It used to house Visions Nightclub, but ever since that closed down a couple of years ago, it has lacked a lot of the luster that it used to. Some of the areas have cheaper housing rentals just off the main street; however, I would caution that it isn't an area I would recommend, especially due to a high volume of traffic, and a lot of nighttime noise.

"Where to Eat"
N Old World 3rd Street is a nice location. The sidewalks are popular and the traffic, though sometimes challenging, is usually pretty good. The main attraction of this street, to me at least, is the abundance of good restaurants on the street or close by. One of my particular favorites is King & I. I go there and I don't even like Thai food!
