"Wonderful sense of community"
For about 4 years, I had an apartment at the intersection of St. Paul and Read streets, so I traveled Read frequently. It's not a commuter street, so it's quiet with free parking. Mostly historic apartments toward the East. Mostly renovated, cute historic homes in the North-West with a real sense of street pride and community... in fact, they even hold a yearly street festival open to everyone. Read intersects with popular North/South commerce routes, so restaurants and shopping are nearby.
