West Gray is one of my favorite streets in Houston. It hooks up to River Oaks and the Montrose neighborhood. The residential areas of this street are pretty exclusive. River Oaks is one of the wealthiest zip codes in America.
West Gray is a great street for shopping and eating out. The River Oaks shopping center goes on for blocks. There are many restaurants, shops (both national chains and boutiques), even art galleries. It is also home to the best and only remaining art house movie theatres. The River Oaks Theatre is run by the Landmark group and hosts a fun series of cult-classic midnight movies on Friday and Saturday nights.
This street is close to downtown and Memorial Park.
