West Bancroft St, Reynolds Corners

Bancroft St. is a very variable street. While areas are beautiful and safe, others are old, rundown and frightening. The most western part of Bancroft St. runs past the University of Toledo and through Ottawa Hills, hosting some of the most beautiful and high class homes in Toledo. However, as you head the other directions, you start chancing your luck. It street begins to give rise to old run down apartments, department stores with bars on the windows, and some shady restaurants. As long as you stay around the University, however, you should be ok. The area by the University hosts one or two restaurants and a barber shop.
