"A great place to live."
West 8th street in Charlotte, North Carolina is a quiet short neighborly drive with an artistic bio-sculpture decorating the small circular cul-de-sac at the south end of the street. The people in this area have always been kind, and in addition to the pretty houses that have been erected, that throw me, a westerner, back to some antiquated New Englandish era, also compliment the kindness of the people living there. In terms of groceries and getting your daily bread, there’s a couple good grocery stores a little out of the way, but they’re there. The place is bereft of corporate franchises, which I like. There’s good eating out and a concert venue, the Time Warner Cable Arena, which makes the night life bearable in this quiet district.
