"Downtown shopping area that never sleeps."
The architecture in this area reminds me of New York City. The lofts on 5th street are gorgeous and this part of downtown L.A. is continuously improving. The homeless situation is still prevalent and many of them take naps in front of the Los Angeles Public Library or in Pershing Square. Pershing Square is a nice place for families to visit during the holidays since the make it an ice skating rink. This street is very busy and easily accessible on the Metro Red Line.
