West 142 St, Hamilton Heights

You won't find much on this street in the way of food, but there are some good housing options and its proximity to the train station will more than compensate for this streets lack of pizazz. I think the buildings here are pretty, and the bigger the building, the bigger the apartment. Uptown apartments are known for their size into the shoe box like places downtown, so if you're looking for space, this block might be your block.

It's also very close to the A express train at 145th that will take you downtown in about 11 minutes, so it's pretty convenient!
