"Wentworth Alley Gateway to Chinatown's Past"
Wentworth alley is located in San Francisco's Chinatown. It connects Washington St. and Jackson St. and runs paralell to Grand Ave. and Kearney St. Wentwort Alley is one block long. Historically Wentworth Alley served the center of the fish trade in San Francisco. Wentworth Alley was commonly known as Fish Alley. Across the street from the fishmongers was a Chinese Phone Company. The phone companies operators were famous for mastering mant Chinese dialestc to do their job. Wentwort Alley is one of historically significant alley that has keep Chinatown running for years.
