Webster Street is home to Armstrong University and views of Downtown Oakland right from the street. The little cul-de-sac red brick buildings give you a very on campus feel. Webster is thriving with young people that are going are springing to classes, meeting friends at little coffee shops and on their way home. The collection of bars and small eateries are hard to beat in this area. One of the downsides is that prices can be a little expensive. The whole idea of living through college is to be able to get by on a conscious budget friendly life style. Partying does go on at night and the cops are always ready to bust something that isn't supposed to be happening.
