The nearest library in the Washington Park area would be the Bessie Coleman Branch Library. This public library was named after Bessie Coleman, the first African American woman to receive her pilot's license. You can find the library at 731 E. 63rd St.

I'm 90% sure the Regenstein library is right nearby. It's part of the University of Chicago and it's a nice library.
