"Great place to live and work"
Washington avenue still has the architectural facade of the 1930's and 1940's. Young innovative people now work and live in these buildings. Types would include artists, doctors, and business people of all kinds. This is an area that flourished until the 1960's when it became run down and abandoned. Now it has been rediscovered and is finding it's resurgence as part of South Beach. This is a great place to live and work, especially for someone who does not drive a car.
