"Secret little gem!"
Although Walnut Street is located pretty close to the 5 Freeway and Newport Avenue, which is a pretty major thoroughfare, it is so quiet on this street! Trees line either side and there is plenty of parking always available. You would swear you are the only person that lives on the street!
Walnut Street is perfect because you live on this quiet and secluded street, but, the second you turn on to Newport Avenue, the world is your oyster – all within walking distance! Newport Avenue itself has everything you could want right there: grocery stores; video stores; drug stores; etc. And, if you jump on the 5, anywhere else you could possibly ever want to go is well within your reach! If you work anywhere north of Tustin, the 5 southbound moves along pretty well. The best part about living right off the 5 is that even if Newport is a little congested during rush hour, you are going to exit it to your street pretty much as soon as you get on it!
Although Newport Avenue in this area has the feel of a strip mall that is a little past its prime, Walnut Avenue is a quaint residential street that will amaze you!

"Not too Shabby"
Great because it's in walking distance from just about everything you might need, but its located next to a high school and delinquents are always hanging around and on the north side of the street theres a grouchy old man with a yappy (but cute) dog and an apartment building with tenants that leave their windows open when they're fighting.
