"Quiet street in Woodlawn area."
Quiet mostly residential street near Yonkers border (after Nereid Ave, it becomes Yonkers' 1st Ave). South end is on 233rd which is a major thru street with a lot of traffic. There's an old office building currently for sale on the corner there. Webster Ave and the Bronx River Pkwy are close by so getting around is pretty easy by car, and there is a Metro North station on Webster & 233rd not too far away. Nearest subway is the #2 on White Plains which is a pretty long walk. You can take the #16 bus on 233rd there. Not much to do on the street itself, but there are a few restaurants and pubs (bars) in the surrounding area for those that like that sorta thing. Close to basic shopping and there's a couple schools nearby. All in all not a bad street...unless you're scared of ghosts from the cemetary on 233rd. haha.
