"A mixture of housing options for such a small area"
Viewridge Road is a quiet street near the center of Bennett. Along this street you will find duplexes, single family homes, and very large, beautiful brick family homes. While most of the homes are on small lots, they all have back yards, but the development is situated so that the last few homes on the street back up to a large open space. They are up on a hill and so their backyards have very big slopes, not conducive to having nice grass or yards. They do have a good view of the creek bed and the trees there are absolutely lovely when fall rolls around.
In some ways, this subdivision seems as if it's in a strange place to me. There really aren't any other homes around, there is a railroad track virtually in most of the homes backyards, and the mixture of housing seems off kilter somehow. It is close enough to the schools so children can walk to school, although they do have to cross the train tracks. As for the school district itself, I have a less than stellar opinion of it.
One nice thing about this neighborhood is that during Christmastime many of the homes are decorated and some do a very nice job. Most of the homes are well tended, but a few are in need of some sprucing up in the yards.
