"I remember when it was a Vineyard."

Yikes. I thought this place was fourm for exposing the dark side of the neighborhood. A place where one could find the dirt behind the manicured lawns. But from the "samples" I've read, most neighborhoods seem inviting... Unless everyone is lying just to attract new home buyers so they can escape to a better life. Still our street has it's benifits and detractors (orchids & onions for the garden set). Let me begin. Our street in in the most desireable Zip Code in Rancho Cucamonga ($ per square ft.) but I think that's government high property taxes & utilitiees higest tier ratings trying to extract every last penny out of this working class community. There are positive things about our street though. The ROAR of the freeway allows us to make noise way part the 10:00 PM legal limit. The diversity of neighbors includes someone from every sitcom ever produced: Bewitched, Desperate Housewives, Mr. Ed, My Favorite Martin, Beverely Hillbillies, with a little Dark Shadows thrown in for drama. Every other household has a big diesel truck (me too) to tow their Toybox or Boat to the desert/ river. There are lots of cops & pilots on our street which provided for a constant parade of equipment on the ground as well as the sky. As of this writting the street is expanding East with 12 simi-custon homes under construction. Good luck, you missed the housing boom by about 6 months. Actually, and I saved this comment for last, I'm glad I moved here (and moved here right before it would have been unaffordable). Even though its noisy from the freeway, It has nice flat 1/2 acre homesites & is close to L. A. where most of the business is. We have good neighbors and recomend it to all. But who wants to read about that.

EKruggel While this is a very nice area of Rancho Cucamonga, it's no way the best or highest priced area.

The zip code of 91737 is considered the most up class area of Rancho Cucamonga.

Prices in our area, Haven view estates, Start in the low $1+ million up to $6.5+ million

AdamS Great review what. Very informative and honest as well. As you mentioned, this isnt a place for people to whine about the bad things, yet its a place where people can simpy talk about their neighborhoods, both the good AND the bad.
