"A park and a beach."

East Cota runs right next to Ortega Park, where my dog Pismo and I would go jogging, and is just a few minutes from the beach. The local residents are friendly and respectful. I never had a problem while I was there.

Of course, downtown Santa Barbara is just a few blocks away with amazing restaurants and every store one could ask for.

"Ortega has a little more traffic, but it's still great."

Ortega St. has a nice little park where I used to bring Pismo, my dog, to play. We would go for a jog to the park and run back. The neighbors were great. Everyone was kind and considerate.

Downtown is a short drive away. It's kind of walking distance. I walked there many times, but it is a good hike. My favorite feature though, is the beach. The beach is just ten minutes away. Pismo and I loved the beach even more than the park.

There are amazing restaurants nearby. Every store you could ever want or need is within a few miles.

"Pico Ave. may be my sceond choice."

I am moving back to the Santa Barbara area as fast as I can get there. I think that Pico Ave. might be my second choice, if nothing is available on Vine. I used to jog past Pico and I was amazed at how quiet the area is even though it was close to the high school.

Downtown Santa Barbara is a very short drive away. The beach isn't far. It's a great neighborhhod in a great town.

"Peace and quiet a block away from high school."

East De la Guerra Street is a block away from Santa Barbara High School, but I never had a problem with noise or rowdy kids. Everyone was always quiet and respectful. I loved that neighborhood and I hated to leave.

Downtown Santa Barbara is just a few minutes away. I used to walk, on occasion. The beach is about ten minutes away as well.

"Peaceful culdesac near high school"

I lived in Santa Barbara for three years. I hated moving, but work demanded it. I'm not far from being able to move anywhere I choose and telecommuting to work. As soon as that happens, I'm moving back to Santa Barbara and especially looking at Vine Ave. Vine is a peaceful culdesac, so there's hardly any traffic.

It's a few minutes away from downtown's restaurants and shopping.

"Another peaceful street near SB High School."

I lived a couple of blocks away from Olive St. in Santa Barbara for three years. I loved it. To be honest, I was afraid that living so close to the high school in a famously university town would be a mistake. I was concernced about noise and inconsiderate neighbors. I was dead wrong. Everyone in the neighborhood was polit and friendly. I never had a problem with anyone. I hope to move back there very soon.

"Laguna is a quiet street near the high school."

For three years I lived a block away from Laguna Street. I loved living in that neighborhood and I hated to move. I can't wait until I get the chance to move back to the Santa Barbara area.

Downtown Santa Barbara is just a few blocks away with some amazing restaurants and fantastic shopping. The high school isn't far away; and even though a lot of the residents are younger, everyone is quiet and respectful of their neighbors. I never had a problem with noise or any other mischief while I was their.

"A beautiful, quiet neighborhood."

I lived just around the corner from Equestrian Ave. for three years. I loved living in Santa Barbara. The beach, of course, is nearby. Amazing restaurants are a short distance away and all the shopping you will ever need is on State St,

The residents are a mix of older established families and young students that go to one of the universities in the area.

"A great family spot."

I loved my time in Santa Barbara and I hated moving. East Anapamu Street is located near the high school (Santa Barbara High School). The neighbors are friendly and considerate. A lot of the residents are young, but they are quiet and respectful.

Shopping and restaurants are close by. Anything you could ever want or need is fifteen minutes away.
