"New interests that are both commercial and residential make this street a current hotspot"

Commercial Avenue is a decent street. It is a very clean street. There are garbage cans posted on a couple of corners and that idea seems to work well. This street is also doing well because it is another street in South San Francisco that is seeing some building of both residential and commercial interests. The street was recently repaved a couple of years ago, which has really made the street stand out in terms of quality. This is a great place for animal lovers, families, older couples and even college roommates. The next street over is a little grimy but that is too be expected. Sometimes unwelcome pedestrians from those streets can wonder over to Commercial Avenue.

"Great themed Halloween houses and a haunted house too!"

The higher middle class reside along the curvy road of Telford Avenue. Located right off the sought after Park Way, this street is some prime real estate. The houses represent people who are successful in life with nice cars, pools and manicured gardens. This is a great neighborhood/street for children because of the safety and the different resources that they have at their disposal. This whole area, Telford Avenue included is a great place to visit during Halloween. The themes on some of the houses are awesome and there is a great public haunted house that is located on Park Street, which is really close to Telford Avenue.

"Party with random "older" people and lock everything up at night!!!"

If your cheap and in school 2nd Lane is the ideal street for you. It isn’t paradise found, but it is cheap and a place to call home. The houses and multiplex apartments on this street are cheap. The walls are thin and some of the neighbors are a little odd. I wouldn’t call the street unsafe but I would certainly say that it is a very interesting street. I think having roommates and knowing there were other college students on the street made me feel a lot safer. I know when we would have house parties there would be random older guys and sometimes girls that would just come and hang out. There are plenty of fun times to be had on this street and a lot of things to learn about life. Lock everything up at night though!!!

"Drive straight to the San Francisco International Airport"

Airport Boulevard is a very important street in South San Francisco. It stretches along Bayshore Freeway and a couple of minor freeways. Be careful when merging onto Airport Boulevard, a lot of the road is aimed at curved and that oncoming traffic is fast and often times deadly. This is the place to be if your looking for McDonalds or some other fast food joint, the best mall in South San Francisco and or other places of convenience. If you keep taking Airport South you will head into an area that is predominantly dotted factors and of course the San Francisco Airport. You will run into a lot of non locals along this way. Be nice and offer a sense of direction if someone asks.

"Fast traffic and a fast mechanism of road travel"

Bayshore Freeway is busy. If you don’t like fast traffic and busy driving then this is probably not the road for you. You can’t ignore the fact the sometimes driving through neighborhood streets can take a little longer if you are trying to get to a place of importance. Bayshore Freeway does offer a faster mechanism of travel. The freeway is in excellent condition. Motorists are always warned in advance about upcoming roadwork or anything special on the orange neon signs that hang from certain overheads. I have never had any problem driving along Bayshore, except for the occasional pestering driver.

"Close to snazzy bars and to the Financial District."

Walnut Avenue is lined with modern apartments and houses. The street is pretty new. There are new developments that are being plotted daily. If you are the trendy type then Walnut Avenue is the street for you. There are plenty of great incentives for the young person on this street. Great and modern living, close to some snazzy bars and other young people around you to start a social network. This is also a great street for young professionals because it is close to the financial district in South San Francisco which is certainly a hot spot for young professionals.

"Come and check this exciting street!"

Randolph Avenue is both a quiet and active street. It is a great place to live especially if you are younger. Being close to all major locations is very important to me. I also love being located to nature, because whenever I’m feeling like escaping I can just take a quick drive to the hills and I’m surrounded by trees. Randolph Avenue will take you right to two of the major freeways in South San Francisco. It provides a good basic road map for the non-locals because it gives a taste of what the city is like without getting lost. Certainly a street to check out on one of your local drives during the weekend!

"If you take this street as a shortcut you might end up getting stuck behind a large truck! Beware!"

Trucking, textile, automobile and other various plants dot this little but grimy street. South Maple Avenue is strictly a working street which caters to the blue collar crowd. The street is often plagued by large trucks that stop in the middle of the road because they are loading or unloading items. If you happen to dart on this street for a quick shortcut you could find yourself stuck behind one of these trucks. My best advice would be to skip this road during the weekdays, you won't get to your destination faster.

"A true blue collar street where strong family values are evident."

Mayfair Avenue is situated one street back from the busy North Canal Street. The vibe on Mayfair Avenue is very blue collar. Located near a few factories, this area is home many families that still work jobs that are being replaced by ever expanding technology. The values of strong family bonds are seen well on Mayfair Avenue. It is possible to catch about two or three families all together walking along the street as you are driving. The houses are modest but somewhat lacking in the appeal factor. The street is loaded with wire after wire. That leaves me the impression that the communication amenities are good. This is a great area for families with small children and maybe young couples that are looking to rent or buy their first house.

"Riding uphill can be hard, but riding downhill is fun!!"

I love Baden Avenue, mainly because of the way that it slopes. I am an avid bike rider and I love the thrill of riding down hill. Baden Avenue can be busy at times with both motorists and cyclists. Since motorists are used to cyclists actively riding on this road it is usually pretty safe. Just ride with precaution. The houses on Baden Avenue are awesome. They are true (South) San Francisco homes. They are two stories, close together and slanted in architecture. This is a great street that has a bustling atmosphere almost any day of the year. Great street for all types of classes.
