Amarillo Way is a short cul-de-sac with only 10 homes located on the street. It's in a great South Palm Springs location, close to shopping, restuarants, entertainment and outdoor activities. While it's a cul-de-sac, and there are others in the neighborhood (Los Compadres/La Reina Estates), it's very pedestrian friendly. It's common to see lots of dog walkers, bicyclists, runners and people out taking leisurely walks. One can walk to the grocery store, banks and drugstores if they like. The neighbors all very nice and close to one another, but without interfering with privacy, etc. Everyone enjoys their privacy in their large, fenced or gated backyards. Most owners on the street are either retired or baby boomers. There are currently no small chidren living on the street. All the yards are kept nicely and all the homes are kept in good condition. Amarillo Way is a great street with lots of palm trees, beautiful views of Mt San Jacinto and very nice, friendly neighbors.
