"An attractive place, usually very quiet, and an affordable home for families with kids."
Just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, yet old trees dominate the property, with minimal desert landscaping and plenty of grass to enjoy.
When the lawn maintenance people do their job (or we have a homeowner who is willing to ride them, and make sure it's done) the place sure looks great.
Located just a few minutes from the Airport, the Thomas and Mack, the Silver Bowl, and the Las Vegas Strip, Paradise Valley Townhomes are great for people who like being close to dining and entertainment, yet want an affordable quiet family home.
The condos are large, and the property improvements (re-roofing to remove the shake roofing, cleaning up the mess made by a bad lawn company, etc) are beginning to be finished, and the place has shaped up well from the disaster it was two years ago,
There are some problem unsupervised Children and Young Adults with too much time on their hands, but you find that anyplace you have two income families and kids left unsupervised. The proactive ( maybe nosy?) neighborhood association helps keep them in check, and things are usually quite calm.
The HOA is tolerant but firm, and problems can usually be worked out with a simple discussion between the parties, fines are not a way of life with this board.
I've been here since 1994 (started as a renter), and I'm as happy with the place now as I've ever been.
