About Me

Serving Your Real Estate Needs in the Hudson Valley

In 1997, I obtained my NYS real estate salesperson license. At the time, my husband and I had three young children and had purchased our first home in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. My background included studying packaging design, working for a magazine distributor, managing a home improvement company, a commercial real estate developers office and a wholesale diamond jewelry company. I was also the music director for a Contemporary Ensemble.

I considered my strengths, personality, experience and passions and decided real estate would be a great fit. One main component of that decision was that I knew I wanted to work with people directly. Helping people achieve their goals- finding and purchasing the right home or selling a property in a timely and rewarding fashion- has been the most satisfying part of my work as a realtor.

In the years since obtaining my real estate license, we sold our home, relocated to Rhinebeck, NY and also purchased an investment property. I continue to be involved in my community as well. I joined the Kiwanis Club of Poughkeepsie in 2007 and currently serve as its president. It is a family tradition as both my parents and siblings have been members. The mission "changing the lives of one child and one community at a time" is so important. We raise money to send kids to camp, provide scholarships and many other volunteer efforts. One of my favorites is a new initiative we started called "Catching Kids Caring". Middle school aged children are nominated by their teachers to receive this award for getting "caught" doing something good. Many times it is in defense of a friend against bullying. There is so much pride in the children and their families for being acknowledged this way and I hope we can expand this to many more schools throughout the area.

Now that our kids are grown, our needs are changing. We no longer need the big house and are looking to downsize with our two chocolate labs, instead of three young children. Change happens to all of us and as you can see, I bring years of experience, both personally and professionally, to real estate so that I may serve you best.

I look forward to helping you. Please call me at 914.438.1999. Let's talk about your needs and how I can help you achieve your real estate goals, whether its with me or through the network of real estate professionals that I can refer you to across the country and the world.
