"Oakwood is a pleasant street."

A rather nice street filled with working class families. Has undergone some real estate changes in the past several years. Many condos have gone up. Some of the newer architecture is just god awful.

Many pockets of Oakwood have become completely Korean with many Korean eateries nearby.

Street has a mixed record regarding crime rates.

"Avoid Wilton Place if you want peace and quiet."

Wilton Place is a street that never sleeps. It is used mainly for commuters to get across town quickly. There are many beautiful middle class homes in the area, but you really need sound-proofing to deal with traffic noise of the street. Not sure I would feel safe walking around here at night.

"A lot of traffic noise on this street."

This street gets a lot of traffic from people trying to get to the Hollywood Freeway. It's a killer on Friday nights.

This is probably not a good street to raise a family.

A mixture of homes and apartments line the streets.

Easy walking distance to a shopping area on Santa Monica and Van Ness blvd.

"Great street with amazing real estate"

South Van Ness has some of the greatest residential homes in Los Angeles. I am talking huge homes that take up a lot of land. Many of the houses of big front lawns that are elevated from the street. Beautiful Craftsman built homes abound. The neighborhood is very quiet.

A short walking distance from Burns public park.

"Best kept secret in town"

North Ridgewood Place has an old world vibe about it. A lot of beautiful Craftsman style homes nestled away from the traffic noise of Beverly Blvd. The street is used frequently by the Hollywood movie studios to shoot movies and television shows. A very quiet street. It may be the best kept secret in Hollywood.

"Elmwood Ave has become multi-cultural"

Elmwood Ave is a relatively quiet street that has undergone some recent real estate changes over the past ten years. Gone are the old homes of the 1920s and going up are condos galore. The population is a mixture of white, hispanic, and korean.

The street is about four blocks walking distance from Van Ness Elementary school. And about twenty yards from Western and Beverly, where there is ample public transportation.
