"Very popular neighborhood with lots to offer!"

I just love Soho, New York, there is so much to offer and it is not un common to run into celebrities on a daily basis. There is so much to do in this part of New York City. Soho is considered a neighbor to "Little Italy" which is just fabulous and alot of fun! It is a bit pricey of a neighborhood and very contemporary with great museums . Many families and couples as well as singles are here. Cast Iron Building architecture Green Street is the main street for all attractions and a good way to get tourists started on site seeing.
Pros
  • Incredible architecture
  • Loft style living
  • Celebrity residents
  • great bar scene
  • central to everything
Cons
  • Lots of tourists
  • Crowded

"At one with nature!"

The Hudson River Road is so cool! If you are looking for a good getaway from the hustles of the city, then this is the place to go! It is so quiet and can be romantic if you are a couple taking a walk over here. Living here could be a problem since there is no stores nearby or at least within walking distance.

"Yet another peacful and quiet street"

I walked down Palisade Avenue and found it to be very tranquil and simple with no distractions of the city life. You are very close to a Forest and are pretty much in the wild among nature. There are no close stores so I would not see this street fit for young people who are looking for adventure and wild times.

"Five Stars for Simplicity!"

Independence Avenue in The Bronx, New York is pretty much far away from the city. There really is not many things to do as far as shopping or eating out. This is an ideal place for families or those seeking a quiet retirement. This area is more in touch with nature then the city.

I was very impressed with Grosvenor Ave in The Bronx, New York. Many parts of the Bronx are run down but this part of The Bronx is stunning! The homes are beautiful and I felt very safe being in this area. There are nice places and parks to take the kids to or just walk the dog.

"Nice area and very busy"

Oxford Avenue is one busy street that has a little bit of everything available. It does not seem like a great street to live simply because it would be hard for anyone with a family to deal with but it is perfect for a single person who is in and out, a quick paced person would be ideal for this street.

"Not so impressive!"

I checked out Adrian Ave. in The Bronx, New York and I walked into the middle of some kind of dispute where the police were present. The area seemed dirty and I certainly did not feel safe and secure at all. I would not reccomend this area to those who have families.

"Noisy and fast paced street"

Furman Avenue in The Bronx, New York is a very busy and very loud street. It is not somewhere you would want to live because there is so much violence in this area. I found quite a bit of homeless people in this area asking for money. It is ok for a visit but that is all.
