"Greeat neighborhood close to the center of everything!"

Via Vera Cruz is at the heart of San Marcos, which is a suburb of beautiful San Diego, California. It is just moments from Restauraunt Row, a cluster of more that 20 different restaurants, and is also very close to an excellent movie theater with 16 screens and stadium seating. It's also adjacent to the newest shopping area in north county, Grand Plaza. This shopping center contains such stores as Nordstrom's Rack, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Whole Foods market, Lane Bryant, Petco, Marshall's, and many more. It's also home to some very fine restaurants, making it a huge plus!

Via Vera Cruz is just off of San Marcos Boulevard, which is the main east-west thoroughfare in town, and about a mile from highway 78, the fastest route from east county to the beaches at Oceanside and all of the suburbs in between. There is freeway access at three different points within 2 miles, making it easy to enter and leave town. There are also three major grocery chains within 5 miles, as well as 2 drive-thru Starbucks, a Home Depot, Furniture Row for those interested in decorating (or redecorating), and a Fry's Electronics (only the coolest computer store in existance!!). Via Vera Cruz is convenient to banking and city offices, as well as an exceptional public library.

However, these great city features only help to underscore the wonderful neighborhood atmosphere that the residential area embodies. Wide, shady, tree-lined streets with bike lanes, parks, a pond, and walking or bike trails are perfect for all stages of families, from retirees to those with small children. The local school, Discovery Elementary, is award-winning, and is a great place to nurture young minds. There's also a golf course at nearby Lake San Marcos, for those of you who love to hit the links.
