24th Street between Dolores and Castro:
If you are coming from the south take 280 N and take the San Jose Ave exit. Continue left onto Dolores St and turn left on 25th, right onto Vicksburg St and Left again 24th St (there is no direct left from Dolores onto 24th). This street has a post office, a truly resourceful book shop - phoenix book shop, a good hair dresser, great Irish pubs and good food and cafes. The Bell market there used to be nice, but alas has shut down recently. All in all a great place to hang out in the morning, afternoon or late evening.
