"Heaven in Southeastern Denver"

Located in the brand new sub-division of Tallyn's Reach. Home prices range from low $300s to well over $1 million. Part of the accomplained Cherry Creek School District. Across the street is the brand new Southlands Mall. Plenty of places to eat and shop! This is the best place to live in Southeast Denver / Aurora!

Homeowners on S. Millbrook St. are primarily upper middle class families with school-aged children. There are a few homeowners that are do not have children; they were attracted to the location, recreational activities, and other ammenities immediately available. The sub-division offers a clubhouse available for rental, a large swimming pool with a kid waterpark area, multiple tennis courts, and lots of walking / bike paths. The library for Southeastern Aurora is in the neighborhood, as is the police station and fire department.

Nightlife is readily avialable in LoDo (Lower Downtown Denver) just about a 30 minute drive. All the national sports team facilities are there as well. Famous Colorado powder is just a short hour drive west along I-70. Every imaginable recreational activity is available somewhere within about an hours drive. Lakes are decent and there is quiet a bit of boating activity for such a landlocked area.

The neighbors are genrally friendly. (I wasn't sure what to expect when we moved from the mecca of Southern Hospitality.) I was actually surprised to find our neighbors eager to get to know one another. (All of us moved in about the same time so that may have contributed.) I would say that overall the neighbors assume that you are just like them and may be surprised to find out whatever it is that makes you unique. Since it is still a relativley new neighborhood, and most people work, there is not much of an opportunity for gossipers to set up shop.

One last item - don't miss the view from the homes at the beginning of S. Millbook. The first 5 or 6 homes that face east have completely unobstructed views of the entire Front Range to the west from the back of their houses. You can see from Pike's Peak to the south (over 60 miles) to Long's Peak to the north! The view can't be matched by many other streets in the entire area.

There aren't many houses that have become available for resale on S. Millbrook but there are new lots now available as part of the final phase of Tallyn's Reach. Eagle Bend sub-division for those over 50 is the next neighborhood to the south and offers a fabulous golf course.
