"This is a very busy street that handles alot more traffic than it used to."

Fitchburg State Road or Route 31 as it is also called, is the main road to get to New Hampshire from the Fitchburg area. It is just a one lane road with a speed limit of 45 miles per hour and people tend to speed on it. This is a state road so it is maintained very well, plowed sanded,pot holes filled etc. There are conviently located small neighbordhood stores for bread and milk and the paper, but no shoppng malls unitl you get up into New Hampshire. In Fitchburg they are building alot on this road which will chage it to thickly settled and slower speeds i woud imagine
