Tammy Ave. is a hidden gem in Amarillo. Its very quiet and peaceful. Traffic is very low, but when school is in session, it can be busy in the mornings and afternoons. During summer, very quiet. The neighboors are friendly and will wave when greeted. A middle school is down the street with a small by very nice park. Shopping and eating are several miles away, however, the drive is not that bad. The streets are good and you can usually get to downtown or the mall with in 10 to 20 minutes. They are building a brand new high school only minutes away, but far enough away to avoid all the traffic. I would recommend it to anyone.
