"Peaceful and convenient living"

This is a street that changes drastically depending on how far away from the University of Washington you are located. South of 50th it is pretty lively--a lot of cars (parked and driving), a lot of pedestrians, a lot of bicyclists. This part of it is right in the heart of the University District and while it's not nearly as busy as the nearby University Way, it still absorbs some of the hustle and bustle of the thousands of people that visit the UW campus. Renting an apartment in the area is unexpectedly peaceful. It feels safe and not very noisy, although the latter vastly depends on the demographic of the apartment building in question. Extremely easy access to public transportation bound for just about anywhere in Seattle, grocery stores nearby, and plenty of good, inexpensive restaurants are just a block away. Finding parking is difficult, however, and do not think you can get away with parking by the curb before 6pm without paying--I see plenty of parking tickets written every single day, the area is policed quite well! As you go farther north, the street becomes a lot quieter and instead of apartment buildings you start seeing small houses and large, old trees. Driving becomes difficult due to the narrower street and parked cars.
