"A little bit of downtown in a suburban setting"

Forbes Street is only one block in length and was recently added to the historic district in Westborough. There are homes from the 1700s, 1800s and 1900s; a total of twelve. There are retirees, middle aged families, and young familes, as well as apartments on each end of the block. It is an easy walk to Westborough's downtown district with churches, town hall, library, shopping and restaurants. Bay State Commons, a brand new mixed use development, is also a short walk, with a new Roche Bros supermarket, Linens and Things, Panera Bread, Paper Store, Ted's Montana Grill, a bank, gym, upscale condominiums, a park with gazebo, and other retailers.
