Ramone Road, in the Coachella Valley, runs from Palm Springs through Cathedral City and Rancho Mirage into Thousand Palms. If you fly into Palm Springs Airport, Ramone may be one of the first roads you drive since it connects the 2 major highways, I-10 and 111. We can only fly into the smaller Palm Springs Airport if we travel during the peak season (Thanksgiving to Easter), otherwise we have to fly into Ontario Airport, which is about 1 ½ hours away from Palm Springs.

We visit and golf in the Palm Springs area all the time. We drove on Landou Blvd one day and thought the view was breath taking. Some of the houses had unique colored blue roofs, which we had never seen before. The picturesque mountains are in the near distance and part of the road had the desert on one side, which provided privacy and a feeling of seclusion.
