"Underground Atlanta!"

One of coolest places in the downtown Atlanta area is located at 50 Upper Alabama Street. Nicknamed Underground Atlanta, this strip contain over 5 blocks of shops and stores all one level below ground. Walk through all the stores was such a fascinating experience. This is a hot destination spot for locals and tourists, with many souvenir shops located amongst the over 100 underground shops. Definitely a must see on a trip to the area.

"Perimeter Mall is a one-stop shop"

Located off of Ashford Dunwoody Road, Perimeter is your ultimate one-stop shopping area in Atlanta. This busy mall is full of hustle and bustles, a great variety of stores, and good places to eat. Perimeter has a great selection of department stores including: Nordstroms, Bloomingdale's, Dillard's and Macy's. You can also find classic retailers such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Anthropologie, Crate & Barrel, Gap, J. Crew, Sephora, Nine West, and Victoria's Secret. If you are ever in Atlanta and are looking for some good shopping and good fun then this is the place for you.

"Great nightlife area!"

Atlanta, Georgia has some of the best nightlife hot spots for the 20 and 30 somethings who are looking for great places to party or just have a relaxing night out on the town. When I visited, one of the funnest places I went was a bar/lounge called Sanctuary. Located in Buckhead (district in Atlanta) at 3209 Paces Ferry Place, this latin style nightclub features Caribbean and Latin music, dancing (salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbia). The bar selection is okay and the atmosphere is great. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an alternative to Peachtree Street.

"Home of the famous Beer Mug"

Collier Road NW is home to Beer Mug, one of the Buckhead (district in Atlanta) landmarks in Atlanta Georgia. Originally located in Brickwood, Beer recently located to Collier road. Nonetheless, this long time landmark (open in 1968) was one of the first and best sports bars in Atlanta. It has a great atmosphere for drinking and I would highly recommend a visit should you ever be in the area.

"Great Atlanta Nightlife"

As part of Buckhead (midtown district of Atlanta), East Andrews was one of my favorites places to go to experience the famous Atlanta nightlife. In addition to shopping, East Andrews has some great restaurants and bars. I went to a couples of places there when I visited. My favorite place to go was Andrews Upstairs. This entertaining and fun concert style environment was a great place to get drinks and go out at night. I would recommend this street to young people in their 20s and 30s looking for a fun night out.

Sweet Auburn is a district in Atlanta, Georgia that truly captures the essence of Atlanta in my opinion. One of my favorite streets in Sweet Auburn when I visited was Auburn Avenue NE. Auburn Avenue had this hustle and bustle southern style with great shopping and amazing food. My favorite place by far was the Curb Street Market. This market was full of all kinds of fresh produce. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for some fun day activities.

"Centennial Park is great place to spend a day."

Located off at 265 Luckie Street Northwest, Centennial Olympic Park is one of the most exciting places to explore in Atlanta. When I visited last year I was spent an entire days just walking around the park. There are tons of things to do including: a free concert every Wednesday (longest running free concert in Atlanta), music at noon on every Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunch time, and great holiday celebrations (such as 4th of July festivities). The beautiful environment makes this Luckie Street NW park a must see for everyone.

"Great place to take a day trip"

If you are ever in the Atlanta area, Cherokee Avenue SE is great place for a day trip. Grant Park, the oldest park in Atlanta, is located right off of Cherokee. The park is extremely beautiful and is a great places to take a walk, have a picnic, or just play around. In addition, Zoo Atlanta is also located off of Cherokee. Zoo Atlanta is a great environment for families or even couples. If you are looking for some great day activities, I certainly recommend checking out these hot spots.

"Great shops and dining spots"

Once called Plaster Bridge Road, Piedmont Road (NE) has some of the best places to shop and dine in Atlanta. One of my favorite places to eat there when I visited was Burrito Brothers. This delicious little place features Mexican food, sandwiches, and even ice cream at reasonable prices. There are also a huge variety of shops. Intersecting with Peachtree Street, Piedmont is great place to explore for anyone who is visiting the area.
