About Me
Born & raised in north Wilmington, John attended Salesianum High School and went on to earn a degree in Business Administration from King's College. His life long involvement in his third generation family business, Shields Lumber & Coal Company, ended when the business closed in 2001. Subsequently hired by the nationally-recognized Bancroft Construction Company as a construction manager, John elected to pursue a real estate career to capitalize on his industry experience and knowledge of architecture and construction, notwithstanding the tremendous network of folks he came to know during his years in retailing.Licensed in Delaware & Pennsylvania
