"Small town living"

Walton is a small town with the biggest complaint being “nothing to do”. It is very peaceful and the countryside is gorgeous. Many people from NYC have weekend homes here, as it is only 2 hours away.

Walton has a great school system, with three buildings: k-5, 6-8, and 9-12. The teachers are wonderful and the school board is great.

The nightlife leaves a lot to be desired, as the town only has two bars. Which are not very lively.

Shopping and dining out are not really options here. There are a few small stores, like a shoe store and antique shops. No real department stores and the nearest place is over 30 minutes away. There are about 5 restaurants, all are decent.
