"A small bedroom community nesteled between NYC and Philly"

Friendly is a good description of Plainsboro, with the exception of the overactive PD that like to give speeding tickets. I must admit though, the crime rate is low except for petty theft. This town had a burst in population after the closing of the famous Walker Gordon dait=ry farm, home of Elsie the cow, (She is buried there and a monument marks the spot. After closing the farm an apartment complex, opened and development began as remaining farms sold to developers. There are an abundant amount of "Mc Mansions" dotting the landscape of both Plainsboro and West Windsor.
The school district, West Windsor Plainsboro, is a blue ribbon district which teeters between 1st and third place in State rankings. A number of graduates have moved on to Princeton, Harvard, and Yale. The district consists of four K-3 schools Town Center, Wicoff, Dutch Neck, Maurice Hawk: Two 4 - 5 schools Millstone River and Village; and two Highschools, North and South.
The downtown is a planned community with Condos, shops, restaurants, a library, coffee shop, pizza, Indian, Asian fusion, Bagels, Panera, Five Guys burgers, McDonalds, CVS, Banks (PNC, Indus American, Constitution), and a Lighthouse Academy.
Plainsboro and WestWindsor are heavily Asian with a high population of Indian, Chinese, Korean and Japanese, which is reflected in many of the activities and local venues.
There is an abundance of doctors, PT and the Penn Medicine at Plainsboro hospital and CHOPS are right in town. Priceton Hospital wellness also has a complete fitness facility as does Lifetime Fitness.
