Everything from the Ala Moana beach across the street to everything needed in town is all here. We love this area!!

johnnyhifi hiltonblackwell, I envy you. You are so lucky to live in Honolulu! What are some of your favorite restaurants in the area? And what do locals think is the best hotel? (I'm visiting in October)

Would love to see a video if you get some time.

Fav. Restaurants- Roy's, Yanagi Sushi (reservation only, unless your solo), YardHouse great food and many beer, Duvin for apps and light meals, Indigo for cocktails, Orchids at Halekulani for brunch, Hau Tree Lania for eating good on the beach. All these are pricey though.

Best Hotel is The Halekulani and The Kahala, also expensive but great. ask for current deals.

Check out http://www.lightfantastic.org/ for oahu video's. Ryan does a great job at this and he even has a live video feed sometimes.
