Have stayed in a hotel here in the eastern end several times and find that it is very central and lively. The western end is a business area and is much quieter. If you are a fan of Chinese food (and who isn't) as well as culture then the area is well recommended. Transport is excellent with the underground close by and the trams less than a minutes walk.

Fairly quiet street in an outer suburb, good facilities (pub and shops) and schools within short walking distance. Major shopping and medical centres 5 minutes away in Midland which is a regional centre for the eastern corridor. Hospital is less than 10 minutes away.
