"This is arguably the best part of the city"
With the Art Museum right around the corner, this is one of the better parts of the city. Philly has been given a bad rep as of late due to the escalating crime rate. Well, the Art Museum area is one of the more peaceful and historic parts of town, and Ben Franklin Parkway is a good walk. There are concerts going on often, and lots of free activities for people of all ages.

"The way to the Bay"
Bay Street as the name suggests leads directly to the Bay and all it has to offer. I went to a seafood resturaunt on this street that was really really good. I don't recall the name, but I know there are many more along this street that are probably just as good if not better.

"One of the most beautiful parts of town"
Washington Street is near the oldest Chinatown in the country. It is also one of the most beautiful parts of the city as well. The houses along this street make me wish I had chosen career that would have allowed me to work in San Francisco, just so I could live on this street.

"Long Street with alot to see"
If you are they type (like myself) who enjoy experiencing more than just the tourist attractions in the city, you will enjoy traveling down Market Street. This really long street has everything from good food shops to the common city slickers out trying to get your tourist money. Be careful when you are on this street because one second you are in the tourist area and the next you aren't.

"Street that cuts right through the city"
Columbus Ave cuts right through the northern part of the city. If you don't mind walking (if you haven't done enough yet in this city), this is a great street to walk because it crosses so many streets. It sort of gives you a view of all directions due to it cutting through the city the way it does.

"You have to visit Japantown"
San Francisco is the only city I've ever visited that has a Japantown! As such, I had to visit and I was thrilled to see such vibrant community and great food! Post street is a long street like many of the streets in the city, but you can get almost anywhere by bus.

"Manhattan in San Francisco"
If you are from the east coast and you are visiting San Francisco and you miss the hustle and bustle of New York, or the huge Bank buildings with their enourmous edifices, head on down to Sansome street. The only difference from here and NYC, is that the beach is much closer!

"Some of the Best Seafood I've ever had"
I had some of the best fried fish on this street than I've ever had! If you want to visit Alcatraz you have to make your way to Pier 39 or so on this street to get there. There are hundreds of neat little shops on this street. Make sure you wear your walking shoes, because you will do ALOT of walking here!

"A must see if you visit San Francisco."
A portion of this street draws alot of attention for being "the most crocked street in the world". I was on the tour bus when I saw this street and didn't see the crookedness right away, but as soon as I saw a car drive down, it was clear. This is a long street, but the part I visited was quite nice and very "tourist friendly"

"One of the best streets to visit in the city!"
Three words. The Bush Man. There is never a dull moment on this street. from the shops and stores, to the eatery's to the entertainment, there is plenty to keep you busy in this part of town. I must say that I was not frightened by the Bush man, but so many others were and I sat there and watched him scare people for over 10 minutes! If you leave San Francisco without visiting this street, then you really didn't visit San Francisco.

"Great Street to visit in San Francisco"
Polk Street is a pretty long street, but the part we visited was quite nice. We were actually on our way to the Maritime Museum, but it was closed when we got there. We were at the end (or beginning) of Polk Street, and decided to walk uphill a bit and check out the neighborhood. The houses along Polk Street looked cozy and comfortable. We saw a lot of buses so my guess is that public transport is pretty accessible at least on this end of the street. We weren't very far from the water which we ended up going to later, which is one of the great things about San Francisco!
