"Rural location near Sacramento River and municipal airport, great for retirees and outdoor junkies"
Pros:
Rural area with old barns, live oaks, blue skies, and chapparal.
Neighborhood is spread out with cattle farming and small commercial farming patches within one mile either direction.
Lots of birds, deer, skunks & squirrels. Frogs can be deafening outdoors in the winter if you live nearby any creeks.
School bus will pick up and drop off along this route.
Depending on which end of the street you live: cable internet. Entire street has electric only
Golf course with restaurant within 2 miles.
Sacramento River access and public park on the river within 4 miles.
Muni airport and convenience store within 4 miles.
Safeway and gas stations are 5 miles.
Walmart super center is 6 miles.
Cons:
Logging trucks coming out of Lassen NF in springtime.
Motorcyclists love this route during nice weather. Large parties can get loud.
Armed Forces planes fly low about 3x a year while on maneuvers.
Fire Fighting planes will also be coming and going alot when a fire is within the next 3 counties in radius of the airport.
