"TURN YOUR CAR AROUND"

The street is filled with holes and you literally have to drive around them. Not small holes, but craters! You also need to be careful because you may be approached by neighborhood people that may or may not be nice. Many abandoned houses are in this area and the street light quality is very poor. I would not recommend living here with children or living here alone. I would say, "Live or drive here at your own risk." I come by this way to pick up a coworker.

"Close to Everything"

Wolf Creek is located right off IL 159. So, if you take 159 and go north, you can pick up the interstate and go to St. Louis. You can get there in about 15 min. Or you can go South on 159 and get on 161 to St. Louis and the JB Bridge if you don't want to go downtown. Wolf Creek is only minutes away from the Mall, grocery stores, plenty of restaurants, shopping, and an awesome school district. It is very quiet and safe and friendly.

"Too Many Cars Parked Here"

I usually turn down this main street since it connects me to my street for home. The problem is that there are always many cars parked on the street and I have to usually stop to let another ar go by. This street is in a suburb with plenty of kids. Houses that are listed for sale usually stay for sale a long time. I will say that there are many yard sales on this street which I do enjoy. The street is easy to find becauseyou can just say coming from St. Louis, take the 12th exit to the right and go down to Green Haven.

"Don't Drive By"

I lived here during my teen years. The location is kind of hidden away from HWY 161 which can take you right to St. Louis, MO. Anyway, this street is on a hill....very steep hill which is good for exercising. It is surrounded by nature...plenty of trees and deer and other little critters. The neighbors that I had in the 90's are still there! Everyone knows each other. The street is very safe as the neighbors are always looking out for each other and watching out for each other's safety. The best thing is it is close to local shopping areas but so quiet you won't hear a peep.

"Right Downtown STL"

I go down this one way street when I need to go to St. Louis Board of Education. Because I have to go there for several meetings, it is nice to find good parking and several varieties of restaurants such as dine in or fast food. There has been construction going on but that is only to improve the streets. Downtown STL is being revitalized and this is part of it. It is convenient enough to park in the garage or the street and walk to st. Louis Center. It is also a near the dome (where the STL Rams play) and the Convention Center.

"FAMILY FRIENDLY & SAFE"

I have family that lives here. The people are friendly and take care of the yards. the street ends in a cul de sac. There is a nice grassy area for children to play or adults to relax. There are many yard sales during the summer. I feel safe with my kids outside in this neighborhood because many cars are not driving by which can be dangeorous.

"I grew up here"

This street has gone downhill. The potholed filled street is unsafe for any car, especially during a flood or snowfall because you can drive into a pothole. There is a school located within walking distance. However, the school is in one of the lowest ranked districts in the state. There are plenty of kids that hang out plenty of time during the day and night.

"I live here!"

Just 15 minutes away from downtown St. Louis, this is a quiet suburb in IL. This particular street is family friendly. It is quiet. Kids are known for being out riding their bikes. Grown ups are walking dogs. Most people take care of their yards. The top rated local school is within walking distant as well as a fire department, walking track and brand new park. The only thing I hate about this street is how the trash is picked up. You have to buy these stickers and I never remember until trash day. So, if you don't put the sticker on, you don't get the trash picked up. Also, the guy who picks up the trash is generally picky and will not pick it up if it is a pound over the limit.

"VERY BUSY Street"

I drive down this street both ways 5 days a week. The street has way too many stop lights. the street also intersects with many other streets. However, the street signs are confusing as they are posted at weird angles and you can often miss the street you are looking for. There are many one way streets off Gravois, so trying to turn onto a street can be difficult. Finally, there are many places to stop for gas and most of the cheapest gas is found on Gravois in South St. Louis.

"Busy Street with Many kids"

I work at an elementary school on this street which has about 30+ kids. There is also a junior high school down the street with about 500 kids. The street itself is in good condition (no potholes, clearly marked lanes and stop signs). However, the problem is the speed limits are not obeyed which is dangerous as we have had a couple of elementary kids hit. It is also a dangerous place to leave your car parked overnight. As I have arrived to work, I have seen cars with busted out windows. Also, teachers leave their cars parked on the street during the day and we have had problems with vandalism and burglary.
