"Horrible, horrible, awful traffic"

State Route 32 is a useful road that takes you places. However, if you're driving in rush hour, stay FAR away. 32 can have hideous traffic between 3 and 6 pm. It's very frustrating and I suggest you not deal with it. Take side streets instead, it's pretty easy to avoid 32.

"Easy to get places"

Right near Glen Este High School and shopping in Eastgate, including Danbarry Cinemas. Lots of restaurants around, mostly fast food but also some sit-down places and buffets like Golden Corral. The houses are small and densely packed. It's easy to get to State Route 32 from here, and from there to I-71 (to Columbus) or I-275 (to downtown Cincinnati and Kentucky). East on 32 will take you to Batavia, though there isn't much to see there.

"Best shopping in the immediate area"

There are better malls in Cincinnati, but directly in Eastgate there's no better place than Eastgate Mall. Eastgate Blvd is a busy road with lots of stuff going on around it. Besides the mall, which has stores like Hot Topic, Limited Too, Dillards, JC Penney, and Deb, there's also Borders, Office Depot, Best Buy, Petsmart, Dick's Sporting Goods, DSW, and a number of other stores all along this road but not connected to the mall. There are also some okay restaurants around - better than fast food, anyway.

"Always lots of trucks"

There are a number of office buildings and whatnot on this road so there are many semi trucks driving on this road, turning, backing up etc. making deliveries. You have to be careful when driving on it. It's right near the two high schools in the West Clermont school district, Amelia High School and Glen Este High School. It also recently got a new movie theater built, and it connects to Beechmont Ave which has lots of food and shopping.

"Nice quiet neighborhood"

Shayler Crossing is a subdivision of several streets. It is nice, quiet and friendly and I feel very safe there. There is food and shopping nearby; nothing too fancy or exotic but good enough. There is a small park in the subdivision with a playground and pond. The cicadas were bad this year but for the most part otherwise the neighborhood is really quiet. It's a nice suburban place to live.

"Pretty, old houses"

Leona Drive is an older neighborhood on the west side of Cinti. My grandparents have lived there for 60 years. They have a beautiful old house with a large, wooded back yard full of wildlife. Many animals and wildflowers frequently can be found there. The neighbors are also older people who seem very friendly.

"HORRIBLE traffic from school"

Wuebold is right next to Glen Este Middle and High School. It intersects with GE-Withamsville Rd, which is how a lot of kids get to school every day. Therefore, if you try to get onto this street during peak times (7-7:30 in the morning or 2:15-2:45 in the afternoons on weekdays during the school year), you will be stuck there for quite a while. Try to avoid it if you can. This is a small street with houses all along it, and usually there will be people out relaxing or doing yardwork.

"Small friendly community"

Clough Pike is home to many different things. Along the road are Union Township Veterans Park, the "Helicopter Park", which is a nice small park with a track, walking paths, a playground, different courts for sports, a pond and picnic shelters. There is Clough Pike Elementary School, a wonderful elementary school. There is also in the immediate area a brand new water tower and the fire station. It is a nice green area with lots of houses around, though the road is moderately busy with few pedestrian crossings.

"Mostly places to eat"

Glen Este-Withamsville Rd. gives its name to the local high school, Glen Este. It is at the end of the road. Further along are lots of places to eat, mostly fast food, an ice cream shop, a karate studio, and some apartments. It can be a very busy road and during the school year is always backed up in the morning around 7am and in the afternoon around 2:15pm, because the high school is letting in or out. Good luck getting out of the jam during those times.

"Quiet, nice neighborhood"

This is a small street with not much going on. There are a few families with kids, and everyone I have talked to is very friendly. Not much in the way of nightlife either good or bad, occasionally you will hear a rowdy party at night (especially around holidays like 4th of July) but for the most part it's quiet. The subdivision has a small park with a pond and playground in walking distance, but there's not really anything else to walk to or and public transportation services. Close to shopping and eating places such as Eastgate Mall.

"Lots of things to do, traffic can be bad."

Beechmont Ave, also known as State Route 125 and Ohio Pike, is a long street with lots of shops, restaurants and gas stations along it. A new movie theater, Pierce Point, just opened at the intersection of Beechmont and Bach-Buxton. Whenever I'm driving I tend to avoid it, because of the frequent traffic lights and during the evenings there can be a lot of traffic. If you're trying to get somewhere, try to take an alternate route around like I-275 rather than driving along Beechmont, it will make your way a lot quicker.
