"Close to the park and to shopping"

Wendover St is a sort of extended alley primarily occupied by students. Most buildings are older apartments. Residents with cars will soon become expert parallel parkers because parking can be tight and is all done on the street. However, it is very quiet, especially at night. About a block away from the park and two blocks from the main shopping area of Squirrel Hill, its location is excellent. There are some minor issues with garbage pickup, making this one of the least cared-for streets of this area of Squirrel Hill, but it is by no means a trashy street. Easy access to two bus routes make this an ideal location for city and university commuters.
