I have lived here 7 years and have enjoyed it. It is a very safe neighborhood. I have on a few occasions left my garage door open overnight and when I left for the day. Nothing has ever happened. The only people that ever walk by are runners, people walking with their kids, or people walking dogs. There are friendly neighbors if you like to socialize with them, but will leave you alone if you prefer privacy.

The schools are okay. I hear great things about Granberry, the elementary school, and decent things about Oliver, the middle school. I have no personal experience with them, but hear they are of the best Nashville has to offer. You can check them out at mnps.org.

It is conveniently located between I24 and I65, about a 10 minute drive to either. We are 20 minutes from downtown, 20 minutes from the Cool Springs shopping area. Everything is close enough not to be a hassle to drive to. The Zoo is 6 or 7 minutes up Nolensville road. There is a YMCA facility just outside the Villages fo Brentwood near the Christ's Church.

Overall this has been a great place to live and I plan on having my family grow up here.
