"An okay place, but not worth the money."
The ocean view was really nice, but definitely not worth $1300 for a studio. DO NOT own a car when you live in or around the bay area. All shops close at or about 7pm every evening so fill up your tank (stomach) early unless you go to SF. The cliffs are slowing coming towards the land here, so either move further inland, or make sure you have REALLY good insurance. The weather is pleasant year round which would be a plus. It can resemble Seattle at times, and it can be VERY foggy.

"A nice neighborhood.....SO FAR"
I hope I don't jinx myself for saying this, but this neighborhood is actually pretty good. Taxes are really high though since Mesquite is dry (no alcohol). I moved from Dallas post Katrina because that city has went down the toilet when all the refugees came. Mesquite is peaceful. I hope crooks and thieves don't start migrating towards here.
