"A thriving center"

Dale Mabry is a major thoroughfare for South Tampa. It links North Tampa to McDill AFB. Because of the number of persons who travel this street there are excellent restaurants offer a variety of menus at the variety of prices. It can get a bit difficult to traverse during peak driving hours but there are parallet roads to help get from on place to another.
There are Condos with access to the street but most also have easy access to side streets. There are also many single-family homes on streets parallel to Dale Mabry.

"A changing street and community"

Gandy Blvd is in the process of change. It is being widened and beautified. Older stores and restaurants are being remodeled or removed. New stores and restaurants are being built. The housing is diverse - Single-family to homes to Condos. It is a place to stay for awhile and see the growth.

CommunityMan Hi cangel, if the street is being widened will there be more traffic? Will this change the street a lot?

"A friendly neighborhood for a diverse population"

I have lived on this street for a number of years. South Tampa has become "the place" in Tampa. The community is made up of single family homes, apartments, and condos. Although, at this time there is a lot of road construction, the end result will be to provide easier access to homes and businesses. It is also drawing more businesses to the area. This includes retail businesses and service businesses such as restaurants. The people of the community are very active. There are a number of Churches along the street and they work together to provide a safe environment, especially for children and elderly persons.
