"Busy, congested street"

This is the route I take to get to retail stores in Watertown, and the road seems to almost always have heavy traffic. The area it goes through in Watertown is mostly residential. As in most places in and around Boston, the lanes are not always clearly marked, which could make it difficult to navigate for unfamiliar drivers.

"rowdy on weekends"

Egremont has a history of being know for it's college-age residents and and weekend parties. Weekends can be rather loud, particularly in summers when parties migrate out to the balconies of residents. Landlords have made more of an effort in recent years to bring in quieter, older residents. On street parking can be difficult.

"Close to transportation"

Mt. Hood Rd. is a small, one-way residential street in Brighton, MA near Boston, just off of a major artery, Commonwealth Ave. It is close to three train lines and various bus stops, but off of the main road enough to have more privacy for the area. Brighton in general is a college student area, however most residents on Mt. Hood seem to be graduate students or your professionals. The street is usually quiet, but you will occasionally hear people walking home from the bars on weekend nights. On-street parking is difficult, but restricted to residents of Brighton and nearby Allston.
